The Dynamic Publisher- Your Source for Dynamic Publishing News

Issue 3 - January 2009

Forward to a colleague

Welcome to the first issue in 2009 of The Dynamic Publisher, a bimonthly newsletter that provides you with insightful articles and information about dynamic publishing.

Web-to-print is a broadly applicable form of dynamic publishing that can provide immediate value to an organisation. It allows businesses to offer their customers, sales teams, and marketing organisations a way to rapidly create localised and customised print collateral – business cards, advertisements, promotional pieces, point-of-sale marketing collateral, menus – through a browser.

In this issue, we cover Web-to-print strategies and describe how Web-to-print solutions have solved business problems and provided companies with applications that created competitive advantages, including increased marketing agility. In our special article, "Publishing in 2009: Are You Ready for the Challenge?", we take a look ahead and examine some of the challenges news and corporate publishers are facing.

In these difficult economic times, investments in dynamic-publishing strategies can help companies better adapt and optimise their businesses so that they emerge stronger as the economy recovers.

Sincerely,

Joshua Duhl, Editor The Dynamic Publisher
